Kezi Care Services offers a range of specialist staffing to care for and support young people in Tier 4 acute and Psychiatric Intensive Care environments. Our staffs are trained to manage those children with severe mental health illness, who are deemed a high risk and cannot be managed in the community.

The aim of our specialist services is to help young people stabilise and return to the community.

Our specialist services support young people with a diagnosis of

  • Self-harm and suicidal ideation
  • Depression or anxiety
  • Psychosis
  • Emerging personality disorder
  • Emotional, social and behaviour difficulties
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders, with a mental health primary diagnosis

Training

 

Our staffs are provided also with MAPA training that identifies behaviour that indicates an escalation towards aggressive and violent behaviour and take appropriate measures to avoid crisis situations. The training is structured around a 5 day which is up to advanced level. The programme delivers skills and knowledge based on the philosophy of providing the best Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security’s for staff and those in your care that:  

  • Focuses on prevention, deceleration and avoidance.
  • Addresses the risks of physical interventions.
  • Teaches safe, non-harmful interventions.
